However, as a rough guide, for a smaller business with information ready to hand a shorter plan and 3 year summary financials may be sufficient. This could take 2 weeks and cost around £2,500. For larger more complex SMEs a more detailed growth plan will be needed. As an example, this might be to explore new markets or diversify their product offering. In this case, more in-depth research and financial modelling is likely. This could take 2-4 weeks to produce. Fees for this more comprehensive plan could be in the region of £5,000 - £7,500. However, each business is different and a scope and budget will be agreed with you before we start any work for you.

Developing a fully integrated SME Business Plan is typically approached in three broad stages:
- Review, Analysis and Research
- Develop Financial Assumptions & Financial Forecast
- Writing the Business Plan & Appendices
What will be in my SME Business Plan?
The content of your plan will depend on the level of detail required. However, each plan will typically comprise a minimum of:
• A 30 - 40 page business plan commentary including a 2-page Executive Summary (See example of content outlined below)
• A 3 or 5 year month by month Profit and Loss, Cash-Flow and Balance sheet
• A set of appendices with detail supporting the business plan
