Jon has 25+ years of commercial experience in companies from start-ups to large corporations that include Clear Channel UK and Shandwick plc and has been involved in developing business plans across many industry and service sectors. He brings first-hand experience of creating commercial propositions from concept through to a market ready proposition, building management teams and structures, financial forecasting, investment proposals, product development and fund-raising. Jon is a graduate of Durham University, and Henley Management College.
Stephen Mallett
Business Plan Consultant / Strategy Consultant
Special Interests: Governance, Corporate Planning & International Business. Stephen has 40 years of international business experience and has undertaken corporate consulting assignments worldwide across a number of different sectors. Stephen has an economics degree, is a Chartered Accountant and trained at Harvard. Whilst he has a finance background and worked as a CFO, he has also had hands-on line leadership experience of all the key areas of a business including strategy, commercial, operations and IT and has been involved in IPOs, start-ups and turnarounds. Stephen’s senior appointments have included Deputy President of Royal Jordanian Airlines, Deputy CEO (Commercial) of a complex aviation business in Saudi Arabia, and numerous General Manager roles at British Airways. He is also the Independent Chairman of the Cobham plc pension funds.
Ingrid Orbie
Business Plan Writer / Business Plan Researcher / Project Manager

Ingrid has 25+ years of consulting and project management experience within the commercial sector as “trouble-shooter” for retail stores across the country, project manager for refurbishments and new openings. Ingrid has gained vast experience in co-ordinating resources, delivering a wide range of projects, people management, coaching and training, and customer service delivery.
James Plunket
Business Plan Consultant / Strategy Consultant
Special Interests: Cross-Sector Alliances & Voluntary (VCSE) Sector, Social Impact Bonds and payment-by-outcome contracts. James has 25+ years of commercial experience with start-ups and SMEs. James uses established networks, creativity and commercial-mindedness to connect innovative business models with socially-motivated investment to meet a range of health and social care needs. He has developed three social impact bond projects with Big Lottery funding for local government and clinical commissioning groups. His special area of interest is bringing together commercial business models and practices with public sector commissioners to provide long-term health and social care solutions. James holds an MBA from Henley Management College.
